Dear Younger Self,

If you're reading this, you are probably wondering what you are up to in life now, like are we married, do we have any kids, do we have any friends as an adult?

I'll first start off by saying you have gone through ALOT over the last few years but turning 28 this year has been by far your BIGGEST era ever! You are learning to love yourself again, doing what YOU want to do and not let others judgements bother you. We have a new addiction (besides shopping) and its called COFFEEEEE ☕️ *you can see the many photos down below* You have learned how to express your feelings a little better than you use to. There was a time that you had put a stop to the hobby you loved the most, which was your Youtube channel. You stopped caring about dressing chic/fancy no matter where you went, stopped putting on makeup/doing your hair nicely, as well as you had stopped going out to do things (you are a introverted person, however you still like to be around people from time to time).

In 2019/2020 you pulled yourself out of a VERY TOXIC relationship and in March 2020 you moved into your VERY OWN apartment with your baby girl Remington Ashton. You don't have any real children, however she is definitely YOUR CHILD!! You purchased your very first car just a few months after moving into the apartment😆. We've been in a couple of relationships since the last one. They didn't work out like we thought they would, but you have taken something away from each relationship. You have thrived in taking yourself out on dates more and not needing a guy to spoil you. You celebrated your 28th birthday ALL ALONE and did what you WANTED instead of waiting for your friends to join you. All the years mom told you something and you didn't want to listen to her then, SHE WAS RIGHT in the long run🥰. You've had friendships come and go, however you have learned to only keep those who support you around and drop the negative nancy ones.

You spent 2022 traveling to more places than you ever have! You should be damn proud of yourself for taking your very first flight to San Antonio, Texas to visit your friend Danielle after going though a breakup, you've gone to Cancun, Mexico (had a blast there), and recently went to Cleveland, Tennessee for a women's conference. The year 2022 isn't even over and you are already planning your trip back to Texas. 😆 We've knocked off quite a few things off the bucket-list as well. While you were in Cancun, you stepped out of your comfort zone and TOUCHED A BIG ASS SNAKE as well as zip-lined in the air when you are afraid of HEGHTS!!

Now it's the year 2023 and you are improving on yourself for your future husband, reading the Bible and getting close to God, working on your spending habits as well as trying to save money, BUT STILL TRAVEL 😂 (it's all about balance girl) You have been working out like a crazy person to help with your mental health. You have learned to let go of the small things that you can not control and just enjoy the moment. While all your friends are getting married and having babies, you will start to feel behind and left out (kind of how we felt back in school), but it is all in Gods timing and not yours! It has taken some time for you to learn that being alone is not necessarily a bad thing and God has someone out there for you.

As this letter to my younger self comes to an end, I sit here finding myself getting emotional typing this up because I have realized that I have gone through so much and have gotten knocked down, but I came back even stronger. You have most certainly been living your life to the fullest and I can honestly say, I can't wait to tell you what is in store for the future.

XOXO,
